ABOUT US
TVHS Hillside Project
The TVHS Hillside Project is a student-run effort to restore the hillside on the Temecula Valley High School campus. Our first goal is to create a native plant nursery for our school. Eventually we aim to begin planting these native plant species on the hill to restore it to its natural state.
We're looking for donations of:
-
Pots (plastic pots or recycled materials like empty water jugs)
-
Gardening tools (shears, hand trowels, gloves, hoes)
-
Hammers
-
Nails (3 inches)
-
Push broom
-
Shading nets
-
Vinegar
-
Extension cord (50 ft)
-
Hose (75 ft)
-
Native plant seeds or seedlings (see some examples on our Plants page!)
Check out this short video made by some of our club members!
We've already received donations of: a wheelbarrow, shovels, pots, wooden pallets, and a $500 grant from the Santa Rosa Plateau Nature Education Foundation!
Donations of materials can be sent to Room 603 at TVHS.
If you'd like to make a monetary donation, check out our GoFundMe!
Any donations are greatly appreciated!
